Beachwood
Beachwood was originally part of Warrensville Township. It's history dates back to the Western Reserve. On June 26, 1915, with a population of 151, Beachwood was incorporated as a township. The township had progressive growth and in 1960 Beachwood attained city status, with a census of 6089. Beachwood has over 3000 businesses to which thousands come to work each day. There is outstanding shopping with Beachwood Place and Legacy Village. It features many wonderful restaurants, parks and hotels. The city covers approximately six square miles and has a population of more than 12,000 living in more than 2900 homes and 2500 apartment and condominium units. There are about 1,600 students enrolled in schools throughout the district. Beachwood City Schools have received outstanding recognition. See my link to "Schools".
