Cleveland Heights, Ohio is a city of character. It is known as a Tree City because of the many beautiful trees lining its streets and surrounding its parks.
In the early 1800’s the first settlers came to an area which is now a part of Cleveland Heights. It was one of the last areas adjacent to Cleveland to be settled due to its remote location on top of a bluff. In the Early 1900’s, Cleveland Heights attained a population of 15,000 and gained status as a city. It now has a population of about 55,000.
Cleveland Heights is also nationally known as one of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States hosting a variety of life styles. It is rich in Arts and Culture, having several community theaters, including Cain Park, Coventry Village, and many restaurants offering a variety of cultural cuisines.
Cleveland Heights Schools have always been above average offering a lot of opportunity to its students. Drive carefully in Cleveland Heights as you will encounter a lot of bicycle riders, as well as walkers.
Residents enjoy outdoor recreation in the parks or indoor recreation at the Cleveland Heights Pavilion. Cleveland Heights is a few minutes away from the renowned Case Western Reserve University, Severance Hall, home of The Cleveland Orchestra, and all of the well known Cleveland Museums.
